Why is this a research project? <Return to table of contents The CARITAS Project and Wayne Ruga are applying scientific rigor to develop new resources that support advanced levels of effectiveness – one that very rarely has been achieved – in using design of the environment to systemically and sustainably improve health, healthcare and the quality of life. Leading by Design is a second-generation research investigation to accomplish this. It is the field-testing, at a larger organizational and global scale, of original findings that were initially developed by Dr.Ruga during a three-year long pilot phase. The results of this research are now being disseminated to the more broad respective professional communities, for their own wider application to the field of practice. In 2007, Dr. Ruga initiated an extensive peer review and dissemination phase to this research investigation. In 2007, alone, Dr. Ruga presented the Leading by Design project to 12 professional and academic audiences in four countries.Copyright © 2008 The CARITAS Project |
