Albert Holloway, Jr. Albert Holloway, Jr., is president, CEO and founder of the IPA Association of America (TIPAAA), the country’s leading trade association serving Independent/Integrated Physicians Associations (IPAs). Founded in 1994 in Oakland, California, TIPAAA provides a wide range of products, services, and educational programs designed to help IPAs operate effectively and successfully in managed care environments. The organization counts more than 883 IPAs among its membership, representing more than 249,000 physicians. Albert has more than 20 years of experience in healthcare management as a hospital medical group administrator. He organized and managed several IPAs and has held faculty positions at the University of California at Berkeley School of Public Health, Golden Gate University in San Francisco, and the University of Washington in Seattle. He has also served on several national and local civic committees and boards, including HFMA National Board of Directors, National Food Management, Inc., the Blue Ribbon Panel on Navajo Healthcare, the East Bay Center for Performing Arts, IPNI, and IMedica.
